HERE ARE SOME USEFUL TIPS FROM ISMA:

A Simple Guide to an effective study

1.Make do’a to Allah that He will Bless your time so

you can do a lot of studying within limited time.

May He ease your revision and examination.

“ Ya Allah, nothing is easy except what You Have Made

easy, If You Wish, You can Make the difficult thing easy”.

2.Set reasonable goals.

A lot of people fail to achieve their aims because they were set too high.

Setting a simple but achievable

goal will insyaAllah gets you in the habit of

accomplishing it and gradually you can set a higher goal.

3.Avoid cramping your study close to the exam.

Start now. Do little by little but istiqamah.

“ The most beloved deed by Allah is the one that is done continuously,

though it is little”

(HR. Abu Daud, An Nasa’i, Ibnu Majah, Ibnu Khuzaimah).

4.Compartmentalize your study period.

It is better to have small breaks in every 20 minutes rather than to

study for 2 hours straight unfocused.

5.Create a suitable environment for you to study.

A dusty-and-messy-free room will

make you comfortable and relax. Once you are

relax, your mind will be able to absorb the information like a dry sponge.

6.Keep away from sin (even the small sins) as it

results in the inability to retain knowledge.

A saying from tabi’in:

“ The knowledge of Allah SWT is light, and the light of

Allah is NOT GIVEN to the sinner”.
